Foxglove

Foxglove Graham Calow

Digitalis pupurea

Medium to tall, leafy, hairy plant to 1.5 metres. Stems generally unbranched. Flowers purple, patterned with darker spots or rings inside borne in a spike. Flowers are 40 to 55 mm long, tubular bell shaped, hairy on lower lip inside.
